Most of NYU's website is open to the public--calendars, course descriptions, faculty bios. Some of it is password protected, including grade distributions and employer critiques.
I understand why NYU protects the critiques. That way students can be honest and include their contact info for prospective applicants. (Though this is flawed--someone I know got ratted out to her summer firm by a 1L.)
Anyway, why is the curve password protected? Is grade inflation a secret?
